Globe Home Broadband Plans 2016

The 30% remaining speed upon reaching the cap has been removed since they launched their 2016 plans. Buying a volume boost seems to be the only way to restore your speed. Takes 24 hours to activate though after calling 211

Unfortunately NTC doesn’t give a fuck. Globe’s lawyers are very good at bending the law to their will. Our country still does not have a rigid set of laws pertaining to internet usage.

Yeah I buy 100 gigs when I reach the cap. It’s not like I have a choice anyway. How I wish Verizon isp is in my place.

Hahaha chill bro.

» Posted By Kaje On May 27, 2017 @ 8:23 am

Hackers are globe insiders so they know how to steal your connection and get away with it. Turning your modem off makes your mac more easy to steal kasi offline ka sa monitoring nila.

I called customer service countless times but they can’t give a straight answer nor a solution. Umabot nlng sa refresh date. Globe is toying us. They’re abusing us. If I experience that shit again sa NTC na ako magrereklamo. I suggest you all do the same.

» Posted By Kaje On November 29, 2016 @ 3:04 am

Let’s call NTC.

» Posted By Kaje On November 29, 2016 @ 2:57 am

I suggest you have the customer service representative make a report sa issue po ninyo. Push natin tong issue na to. Di maganda tong ginagawa ng Globe.

» Posted By Kaje On October 29, 2016 @ 8:52 am

We really need to raise this concern. This is too unfair. Pinaghirapan natin ang ibinayad natin eh bakit ganito ginagawa nila? I once had a globe tattoo connection na wired. I had it cut kasi palaging nawawala. Raise natin to sa NTC. Their service is becoming really stressful.

» Posted By Kaje On October 28, 2016 @ 4:30 am

Wala talagang matinong sagot. Ngayon all the customer service representatives say over and over is that I just have to call back after 3 hours.

» Posted By Kaje On October 28, 2016 @ 4:22 am

I posted a comment 7 hours ago.

» Posted By Kaje On October 28, 2016 @ 4:20 am

Yan nangyari sakin this month of october. 1.5 mbps from 5 mbps sana speed ko kasi 57gb consumed ko, 50gb ang limit but my speed is a disappointing maximum of 0.24mbps.

» Posted By Kaje On October 28, 2016 @ 4:05 am

Yan din nangyari sakin. Sobrang nakakadisappoint.

Globe LTE Home Broadband Plan Review

Let’s call NTC and let them know that globe is fucking us up.

» Posted By Kaje On November 29, 2016 @ 2:53 am

Pareho tayo. I got tired of calling their useless agents na walang alam. Umabot nalang sa refresh date eh walang improvememt ang speed ko na dapat sana ay 30 percent after I reached the limit. October nangyari sakin ang ganyan. If this month ganyan parin I’ll have my connection disconnected.

» Posted By Kaje On November 29, 2016 @ 2:49 am

.24 mbps na lang din speed ko once i reached the cap this month of october. Pag di bumalik to I’ll file a complaint and have my plan disconnected.

» Posted By Kaje On October 28, 2016 @ 3:58 am

I’ve got nad news. I am subscribed to plan 1599 LTE 50GB monthly limit. This month I’ve used up 57 gigs but my speed is a disappointing 0.09 to 0.24 mbps. From July to August I used up more than 50gb a month and my speed was 1.5 to 1.9 mbps. On September I’ve used up more than 100gb, I broke the limit twice and my speed slowed down to 0.20 mbps. This month once ko lang na-exceed ang limit eh 0.09 to 0.24 mbps na agad. Sobrang dismayado ako. I called customer service and usual sabi lng nila interrupted internet ko at lagpas na sa cap. Alam ko naman yun. What is happening? Why is my speed too slow when I’ve used up 7 gb beyond my 50gb limit??? If this won’t get fixed in 24 hours I will contact NTC. What happened to minus 70% when one exceeds the limit (speed will be only be 30% of the original subscribed speed)??? I might consider having my connection disconnected.

Cebu City area po. Di ko pa na-try outside my area but since it connects to 3g when I insert my LTE sim to my tab then I guess it would work anywhere with 3g connection. I’m not sure though. I’ll try it in a few days pag nagtravel ako.

» Posted By Kaje On October 14, 2016 @ 10:45 am

Working in Cebu City area. I change the APN from postpaid to prepaid and vice versa every after 1 minute. It then connects to 3g in around 5 minutes.

» Posted By Kaje On October 14, 2016 @ 10:42 am

You will be throttled down to 30% every time you reach the cap. I reached the 50gb cap twice kaya super slow na connection ko. 100+ gb kasi nagamit ko. Ang nakakainis ay sabi nila nung nag-inquire ako before nagpaconnect eh unlimited na daw pag nathrottled down na. They didn’t say the throttling down is progressive. Their website did not contain that info too. For those who are using desktop or laptop I suggest you use bandwidth controlling softwares. I use NetBalancer to control my download and upload speed. If you don’t use bandwidth controllers then your computer will use the maximum download and upload speed. My mom is fond of skype and facebook video chat or yahoo chat with video streaming. She uses like 4+ gigs a night! I installed NetBalancer on her desktop to prevent my bandwidth from reaching the monthly data cap.

That’s why I’m pissed off.

» Posted By Kaje On October 14, 2016 @ 10:29 am

NTC requires telecommunications companies na magpadala ng notification via sms or email when connection speed has been throttled pero di nila sinunod. We can file a complaint against globe in this matter.

» Posted By Kaje On October 14, 2016 @ 10:28 am

Yes 50 gigs sa LTE.

» Posted By Kaje On September 29, 2016 @ 9:35 pm

And subtract another 70 percent from your throttled down speed if you reach the limit twice in a month. That happened to me.

» Posted By Kaje On September 29, 2016 @ 9:34 pm

I tried it just now at pwede po.

» Posted By Kaje On September 29, 2016 @ 9:33 pm

That proves na maraming empleyado yang Globe na walang alam! Oo pwede po. I always insert my sim to may tab pag blackout samin.

» Posted By Kaje On September 29, 2016 @ 9:32 pm

Yes pwede po! Pambihira itong si Raz. I removed my sim from the modem and inserted to my Huawei tab and set my apn to postpaid. May 3g signal siya kahit up to 3g lang tab ko. It will take around 5 mins, connect at disconnect lang ang mobile data till the H icon appears on top. By the way cebu city area po ako.

» Posted By Kaje On September 29, 2016 @ 9:30 pm

I subscribed to Globe Broadband 2016 plan 1599 LTE, 5 mbps/month at may monthly limit ng 50 gigabytes. 1.5 mbps (30 percent of my subscribed connection) nlng speed ko the whole August but it’s still fast for me. This September I reached my limit again but I consumed more than a hundred gigs or twice my limit – Globe throttled down my connection again to 0.22 mbps maximum. That’s too slow! HINDI SINABI NG MGA TAGA GLOBE SAKIN YAN NUNG NAGPAKABIT AKO. THEY SAID UNLIMITED NA PAG NA-THROTTLE DOWN AKO!
