Globe At Home Broadband Plans 2017

Hi Renan, inalis na ng globe yung Go Fast plans. And they changed the rules for Go Big. Pwede na ang LTE sa GoBig 5mbps at 10mbps plan. While GoUnli is for wired connections lang.

Hi Brando, availability varies per area po. Better consult a Globe store sa location niyo if pwede kayo magavail ng plan na ito.

» Posted By Raz On November 27, 2017 @ 8:51 am

Hi gbneko, I am sorry as this reply is somewhat too late.

As I remember, Globe started to impose strict throttling way back September 2016, starting with LTE users. DSL followed shortly months after. There is no fix date when it is implemented for DSL because some users are complaining about it as early as September too, but others still enjoy the 30% speed after consuming their data allocation. I am not surprised that you started feeling the limit only now, because Globe implemented it gradually among its customers. You are lucky to be on the bottom portion of the list.

Regarding if Globe really can do this, unfortunately yes, because they can change their own Fair Usage Policy anytime, it is within the terms of the service we signed up for. And with 256kbps, they are still following the minimum speed currently mandated by NTC. So, we can’t really do anything about it it but to complain. NTC needs to revise their rules, ASAP. There is an on-going talk about further increasing the minimum broadband speed few months earlier but I haven’t heard any development about it.

I can’t advise without knowing kung paano ang internet usage niyo. Plan 1299 (GoBig) will do well sa regular home setup, provided na di kayo paladownload or stream ng movies, etc.

Hi Jenny, yung 300GB po is for DSL only, but you may inquire if it is available in your location, they might offer it as LTE kung hindi congested ang area niyo (but this is unlikely).

We are using Globe LTE Home Broadband since 2015, no major issues regarding the signal whether maaraw o maulan. May times lang na nawawalan ng signal pero babalik din agad after a few seconds/minutes, Around 1km away lang kami sa nearest tower ng Globe.

pwedeng pwede naman Sir.

» Posted By Raz On July 26, 2017 @ 7:28 am

Yes Sir, pero ang drawback, di tayo makakasiguro kung bigla nalang maging for youtube only yung 100GB na additional. We can’t blame Globe then, if that happens. Kasi marketed as for Youtube lang siya.

» Posted By Raz On July 24, 2017 @ 10:08 am

It is marketed as 100GB for Youtube (promo for the first 6 months) + 50GB for regular data allocation. Pero recently, other users claim (those who availed this), na pwedeng gamitin yung 100GB kahit hindi sa youtube. meaning, counted as regular data allocation siya.

» Posted By Raz On July 24, 2017 @ 9:58 am

Yes John Paul. It is only a promo, stated din yan sa article na ito.

We’re on Plan 999 5mbps (Rubicon Beta Plan), LTE to. Still lucky to have it last year since Plan 1199 ang equivalent niya ngayon.

We have free HOOQ access and Spotify bundled to the plan pero never namin ginamit or inactivate. One year na ngayon, di pa naman kami nacharge so far.

Yes, mas okay na nga yung Plan 1299 under GoBig ngayon compared last year, if decrease in speed will not matter sa usage niyo.

» Posted By Raz On June 29, 2017 @ 4:28 pm

Hi geb0i, please contact globe regarding your subscription. Ipacancel mo nalang. Also ask for refund/credit to your bill lalo na kung never mo naman pala triny kahit yung free subscription. Regarding downgrade, you can ask for it even hindi pa tapos yung contract but it is subject to downgrade fee. We downgraded ours last year, P,1000 ang fee that time. Also, marereset yung contract kapag nagdowngrade ka, new contract for the new (downgraded) plan.

Dati, I am doing it thru chat.globe.com.ph pero hindi na pwede ngayon, either go to a Globe store or call them at 211 or Customer Care (02) 730 1000.

» Posted By Raz On June 29, 2017 @ 4:08 pm

Hi Roy, yes 150GB (100GB for Youtube, 50GB for regular data based on Globe’s fineprint).

» Posted By Raz On June 29, 2017 @ 9:23 am

Hi Weng, only for youtube po. Download/games is magcocount pa din dun sa regular alllocation na 50GB for Plan 1299 Go Fast (LTE).

» Posted By Raz On June 21, 2017 @ 4:39 pm

Hi brynn, DSL.

» Posted By Raz On June 17, 2017 @ 10:21 pm

Go Big is offered for wired connections only.

Ace LED-802 24 inch TV Unboxing and Review

Hi Tere, sorry for late reply. Yes, it can read 1TB hard disk drive.

» Posted By Raz On November 12, 2017 @ 8:29 pm

Yung red led indicator light ang iilaw if you plug the tv to an electric socket tapos mamamatay din yung red light kapag sinindi mo na talaga ang TV.

How to Buy Smart, Sun and TNT Load from Lazada Philippines

Hi Roden, did you already try a different mobile number?

» Posted By Raz On October 18, 2017 @ 9:25 pm

Hi Den, sorry to hear that. I have used the service regularly since its launch, and it fails me about 1 in 30 top-up I did (system complaining about a wrong mobile number). All this via both Mastercard and Visa payment. You may want to try again using another Mastercard or Visa CC.

Globe Home Broadband Plans 2016

Hi @Driz_12:disqus, oo naman. Haha. Sana kung maglabas man, ibalik na sana yung dating rule sa LTE, kung by data volume pa rin ang offers.

» Posted By Raz On May 31, 2017 @ 7:13 am

Hi! Yes, it is 256kbps (kilobit/sec) = 32kB/sec = 0.256mbps.

» Posted By Raz On March 29, 2017 @ 2:27 pm

This is indeed very confusing Driz. Regarding the plans, bakit kailangan maglabas nanaman ng “revamp” plans. Why not just modify the existing system na hindi na mabawas sa data allocation kapag ginamit ang freebies. Then, notify the users about it. Anyway, we’re not using any of the freebies given. Hindi nga din namin sila inactivate, even spotify, since I already had a separate subscription.

Hmmm. I’ll just leave this post as is. Let the comment section speak nalang for users’ actual experience. Thank you for the update Driz!

Thanks for the update Mark. I guess kailangan na i-edit nag post at ganun na talaga ang rule for LTE subs.

» Posted By Raz On February 6, 2017 @ 11:14 am

» Posted By Raz On January 9, 2017 @ 11:27 am

Yes Mark, Unless po you cancel the HOOQ and Netflix subscription.
