Hi, wala pong restriction.

» Posted By Raz On August 31, 2016 @ 8:59 am

» Posted By Raz On August 29, 2016 @ 5:56 am

Hi Owen, 10mbps x 30% = 3mbps. LTE is wireless po, while DSL is the regular wired internet service.

» Posted By Raz On August 29, 2016 @ 5:55 am

Sabihin niyo po sa Globe na hindi niyo natatanggap yung statement niyo for the internet. Pansin niyo po dalawa yung account number. Pwede online sa http://chat.globe.com.ph or sa nearest globe store sa inyo.

» Posted By Raz On August 26, 2016 @ 8:57 am

Ilan po volume allocation niyo per month? 50GB?

» Posted By Raz On August 26, 2016 @ 8:29 am

Good to hear that Mark! 🙂 enjoy higher speed soon. 😀

» Posted By Raz On August 25, 2016 @ 5:17 pm

Hi Renan! So everyone can already avail, not only exisiting/loyal subscribers. If you availed before August 20, then good for you. I’ve also told others here nung before marelease ang plan, pwede muna sila magapply for the current offered plans then magupgrade nalang months after.

Hi! They usually install an antenna even if your area already had a good signal reception. Sa amin, we had the antenna, but we don’t bother if it is in use or not kasi ok din naman ang signal sa loob ng bahay.

Regarding your other concern, it is advisable that the modem will stay only in the area where it has been installed. You may try to do that but Globe is not responsible if you get slower speeds or no signal at all. In some areas, they implement a cell lock thing that you can only connect to a specific tower where your modem/account is assigned.

So dapat dalawang bill ang marrcv mo, it depends when na activate yung postpaid line (homephone) at yung internet mo. Pwedeng magkaibang day ang statement date nila.

I am afraid to say na baka di pa po kayo qualified to upgrade to the new plans since bagong kabit pa lang yung linya niyo. pag prorated po, parang portion by portion po, installment ganun. I believe this prorated e yung discount na ibinibgay sa mga nagupgrade before to a higher plan for the first six months of the contract (during beta ng new plans). I am not knowledgeable about it kasi nagupgrade kami last June, walang prorated amount kasi considered as downgrade yung samin (from Plan 1099 to 999 na lang). Mas maganda po iinquire niyo nalang directly sa globe if eligible na kayo for the upgrade.

Hello John, I had updated the article yesterday to reflect the newly launched plans of Globe Broadband. Way back last month, I requested the upgrade to rubicon using http://chat.globe.com.ph. I told the CSR that I wanted to upgrade to my chosen plan (Plan 999 5mbps 50GB LTE). Then, she processed the upgrade promptly. But now that the new plans are already official, I am not sure if you can still able to upgrade to the Rubicon plans offered to existing subscribers before.

Hi Gian, medyo weird nga ito since naka old plan 1099 ka na supposedly 5GB/day ang limit. Better ask Globe why it is happening.

» Posted By Raz On August 18, 2016 @ 7:51 am

Hi Ferben. Yes, you’re right po. There’s no further cap na from 30% after you hit the 100GB allocation.

Kung pala youtube ka talaga at it wont hurt you to get a lower quality video, set your resolution/quality to 480p or 360p while watching. That way, watchable pa rin yung video at makakatipid ka sa bandwidth. Sa pagpatay naman ng modem, no need naman na kasi kung di ka gumagamit ng net e di rin madadagdagan yung naconsume mo, better na nakaon kung active ka sa social media so you’ll get your notifications/messages instantly. There’s no reason to turn off the modem if you are an active user.

Hi Ricardo, unfortunately, WiMax has been phased out already. I suggest, GoSurf is your best choice if LTE is not yet available in your area.

» Posted By Raz On August 7, 2016 @ 6:56 am

Hi Jonell, I suggest you just continue your broadband application and upgrade it few months after. That’s a better choice for now since there is still no indication when will the new plans be available for new subscribers.

» Posted By Raz On August 7, 2016 @ 6:53 am

Yes pwede po ilipat sa pocket wifi. At nope, walang mababago sa settings since nasa modem yung apn settings at wala sa sim. At, nakalock ang settings ng APN (atleast for my LTE modem unit, B593S-931) kaya impossible maiba ang settings.

Hi Sum. Yes, I think it will be enough.

» Posted By Raz On July 8, 2016 @ 10:16 am

May additional pa rin po.

» Posted By Raz On July 8, 2016 @ 10:15 am

This is a bug in the system Driz. Naexperience ko rin yan multiple times pero hindi siya tumatagal ng longer than 1 day sakin since nadidisconnect agad (nagrered yung status gaya ng sabi mo). As I had noticed, this also started when the trial for rubicon started. At hanggang ngayon, meron pa rin pala. Didn’t experience it for a few weeks already.

It may take days before it will be posted considering late payment din kayo.

» Posted By Raz On June 22, 2016 @ 6:32 am

1299 + 333~ + 200 = around P1800+ po until the 3rd month ganito.

» Posted By Raz On June 17, 2016 @ 9:56 pm

Then naipit ito sa cutoff date mo (I dunno why, pero yung amin saktong 1month) so nagadjust o prorated amount nalang yung babayaran mo na due sa june 16, then after that, your 2nd bill will be normal at around P1,600.

Kumbaga, nagcompensate lang dito si globe since early billing ang nangyari sayo (less than 1 month span).

» Posted By Raz On June 17, 2016 @ 9:54 pm

Thanks Jopet!

ADSL (the one with wired landline) at LTE (yes, wireless, optional mimo antenna).

Hi Neil! Unfortunately, Rubicon plans are only available for selected current/loyal customers. This is not available yet for new application.

Ss LTE under rubicon plans, Plan 699 at 999 lang ang available. The rest ay for DSL only as stated on the above article.

» Posted By Raz On June 15, 2016 @ 3:26 pm

You are running out of options unlesskung gusto mo mag upgrade to the new rubicon plans as stated above.

» Posted By Raz On June 15, 2016 @ 10:44 am

Thank you jampog! 🙂

I’m sorry but I do not have any info about changing of installation address. Regarding the new plans, there is no ETA as of now. Globe has been so much inconsistent about the dates, telling subscribers that plans will be annoucned by May 1st then June 1st. But until now, still no announcement.

Same rule applies for torrents, it will be counted against your monthly allocation. And if you left that file seeding, bandwidth consumed doing that will also be counted. Personally, I am not into torrents but when I tried it, i did not experience any throttling on a normal day.
